Prefab Metal Building Prices
Select your state below for the latest prefabricated metal building prices. We work with multiple carport manufacturers across the USA to bring you the cheapest pre-engineered metal buildings. These prices are regularly updated when our partner carport builders update their prices. Remember that prices include free delivery and installation of your kit by an expert building crew.
Prices are for fully enclosed garage-style structures. Steel building prices depend on your area (because of the wind speed and snow load), size of your building (including leg height), the gauge of your building (14 GA is cheaper than the heavier 12 GA), colors (some premium colors attract extra price), and components such as doors, framings, windows, wainscot, etc. If you want standard or custom-made steel buildings, you can talk to an American Metal Buildings rep. We will let you know about the latest price trends in your area.

Advantages of
Steel Buildings
Why would you pick anything else? Steel can be made indistinguishable from other materials, complete with texture, color, shape, and overall appearance. Here’s why our steel buildings stand out.
Select Your Favorite Roof Style
Roofs play a big part in determining the final appearance, and even a more significant role in the overall strength and efficiency of your building. Here are the options.

Regular Roof Style
The regular roof has panels that run parallel to the sides with a curvedtransition towards the legs. This design adds to the overall sturdiness of the structure and is efficient at preventing rain from blowing in on the sides. It is the perfect option when looking for adequate protection and cost-effectiveness.

A-Frame Roof Style
It features the traditional A-frame look with roof panels that run parallel to the sides, just like the regular roof. Also, it has a little overhang because the panels don’t curve. Although it has no hat channel, this style is attractive, stable, and better at displacing snow than the regular roof.

Vertical Roof Style
Vertical roofs are the sturdiest of them all because they have more steel framing with extra hat channels. They also come with deeper end trims. What’s more, the angle of the roof, alongside panels that run from top-down, make it amazingly better at displacing snow and other loads. It is the best option for areas that have extreme weather conditions such as heavy snow loads.
Selecting the right roof is essential. Talk to one of our American Metal Buildings specialist if you’re not sure which roof best suits your needs.

Certifications
Certified prefab steel buildings can handle heavier loads and are more durable than noncertified ones. Different regions have unique regulations regarding steel building certification.
We design both types using either 12-gauge (0.095-0.1046 inches thick) or 14-gauge (0.068-0.074 inches thick) steel. 14-gauge is the most popular and economical. With a few additional features such as braces and anchors, a 14GA steel building can be certified. However, 12GA is thicker and, therefore, stronger than 14GA, allowing for more substantial wind and snow loads.
Other than longevity, a certified metal building can also handle the minimum local wind speed and snow load requirement. American Metal Buildings certified buildings will enable you to pass building inspections.
Galvanized Steel Tubing
Our galvanized steel is superior in terms of resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. Both the 12 GA and 14 GA tubings are galvanized for added protection against the elements.
Furthermore, we can include mobile home anchors to secure your prefab metal building on the ground firmly, enabling it to be sturdier and last even longer.
