Size
Our sizes are so flexible you can have your shed in any dimension. All dimensions – width, length, and height – are fully customizable. That way, no matter how limited your space or how big you want to go, there’ll always be something for you.

Everyone has their favorite or preference, depending on various needs. We have over 15 color choices for our customers to pick. What’s more, you can have unique colors on different parts of the building for the best outcome. The trims, doors, roof, and walls could all come in different or the same colors.

American Metal Buildings has both roll-up doors and walking doors for you. We have various sizes available, and you can choose to install any number of entries. But your hands are not tied here. There’s always the option of leaving one side or end open. Also, you could choose to have a frame-out without a door.
Windows
Would you like to have some natural lighting or ventilation? Consider a few windows to complete your building. You could have them on any wall, left, right, or center. The only exception is where there is a leg. We do not recommend cutting through the structural elements to install windows.
12- and 14-Gauge Galvanized Steel framing
We use galvanized steel frames for astounding protection and durability. You can choose to go with either 12-gauge or 14-gauge. Depending on the natural forces that you expect your building to battle and the durability standards you would like to set, either of these gauges could work.
14-gauge is okay. It fairs well under moderate weather conditions, and with additional supports and braces, you could have a 14-gauge certified building. However, 12-gauge is thicker, stronger, and more durable. It is the most suitable where you need adequate protection against harsh weather, or when you want to go all robust on your building.
26- and 29-Gauge Sheeting
For your roof, you get to choose between these two gauges. Although they both have the same appearance once installed, you can expect more reliable protection from 26-gauge panels. They are thicker, stronger, and more resistant to denting. If your building will have to withstand heavy snow, strong winds, and heavy rains, consider using 26-gauge sheets.
Certifications
We have both certified and non-certified prefab sheds. Just like with the gauges, our certified structures are more reliable and longer-lasting. They also come with all the necessary documentation for passing building inspection. That is if your regional authorities have regulations regarding metal building certification. With a certified building, your belongings will always have added protection against the elements.
Yet this doesn’t mean that a non-certified structure will put your things at risk. If you don’t experience much wind, snow, or rain in your region, a non-certified building will still do you an excellent service. But going certified is a great idea, even when you don’t have to abide to any laws, because of the extra protection and durability.
